I started creating this template this morning. It's up and running now (and it's 2 in the morning of the following day, whoops!). I like the result and I'll keep adding details and debugging in the days to come. Anyway, I wanted to renew the site in time for my second run on AiDaNews, and luckily I managed to do so. Yes, AiDaNews2 is now ready and you can download it from the Extensions menu - or straight from the homepage if you prefer. I've been testing it for a while and I'm using it on this very site at the moment - I like it more than its predecessor myself. I actually noticed that there are still some limitations from the point of view of the styling, but compared to the complete absence of css classes... well, it's a good start anyway. But I wanted to talk about the new design and content organisation: do you like it? Is there anything you would change? Let me know what you think!
P.s.: the old modules can still be downloaded from the "Old" page you see in the menu. I'll remove it as soon as I release AiDaNews2 for K2, but you still will be able to download the old modules from the extension page of the new ones. I don't recommend using them though, as I won't answer to support questions about them. |

When I first set up this site, I didn't have much time to spend on its template and appearance, but I just wanted to move away from FLEXIcontent's forums. Nice place, obviously, but the need to rely on them to upload my module was more than I could take... So I created a website in 5 minutes and started uploading my works. Since then, I kept telling myself I would create a template of my own for this site... And never did. Until now, of course.
