I know I wrote I was going to release this in the first week of January, but time passes quickly when you've got many things in your head and hands and so I had to postpone it till now. You can find both AiDaNews modules (com_content/FLEXIcontent and K2) updated to version 2.0 beta2 in AiDa's Google Code Page. I'll try "finishing" both modules as soon as possible so that I can start working on something for Joomla 1.6, but anyway AiDaNews 2.0 won't be compatible with 1.6 - or at least it won't be adapted to work fully on it (I actually haven't even checked if it works in any way...). I'll release a brand new module when I'll need it for my own websites... so it probably won't take long
P.s.: these beta versions still aren't on this website as I couldn't check them for bugs. I hope someone can do the work for me and report if something doesn't work in this article |

I'm setting up a new homepage and would like to use your module!
It worked great on my J1.5 site!
I could not find any information about a release date for the J1.6-version of your module...I'm not begging for it, because I know how much time stands behind developing such a thing...my only question is, if you could give me a time span, wenn you will release a new version? Some weeks? Months?
An answer would be really great!
Thanks in advance!
There's a "Custom Commenting System" setting for that. JomComment will be in AiDaNews2 anyway ;)
Quoting Roger:
Any update on the Commenting system? I do not have an option for JomComments
This is a Joomla issue actually... Can't do much about it at the moment. I'll see if I can make a workaround with AiDaNews2, as I'm actually looking at Itemids ATM.
How do I enable JomComment with AidaNews K2? I do not see it as a option.
We have
Internal k2 commenting system
JComments
!JoomlaComment
JoomlaCommentat or!
etc
But I do not see JomComment
This is a wierd issue, Once I create the menu item for the category and enable it then I click on the aidanews item listing from the front page and it opens the item fine without Aidanews on the top of the item.
I do not want to publish each category in a menu to accomplish this.
Any ideas on this?
At the moment you can only display articles from an author you selected in the backend - to do what you asked, a module for each author would be needed. The feature is interesting anyway, so I'll code it for AiDaNews2 :)
I mean I click of one article from Mr X and when I display his page at the bottom of the article I can display all of his other articles?
Please let me know, it would be fantastic!
